This is the second part for your understanding on Labor Law for employee. Summary are from the employee side:


Do you know that in Labor Law No. 13 / 2003, there is article related to permission NOT to work for female in the first 3 days of their period?


This is absolute and a company can not prohibited you (female employee-red) to take this leave.

This should be under paid leave, and consider as special leave. The spirit of this article whereby some female have difficult situation during the first 3 days of their period.

Some company may ask a doctor certificate for this, but the truth is if using doctor certificate would be falled under sick leave not special leave.

Some argument arise about this whereby company should get at least once for this issues and off course the employee should check to doctor re the period problems. Company will be having reason of care to the employee so they will persuade the employee to do a check up to ensure that this not continuously happen as will be a risk for the company deadline or closing or other tasks assigned to the employee.
